Zemmouri: The 'New Inhabitance Permit' Requirement Acts as an Obstacle to Benefiting from the Direct Housing Support Program
Constitutional Union MP Mohamed Zemmouri criticized the requirement of a new "inhabitance permit" (issued in 2023) to qualify for the direct housing support program, stating that it deprives many citizens and impacts sellers of newly built, unoccupied apartments, while urging a review of the condition. Guided by Royal Directives for 2024–2028, the program provides direct financial aid ranging from 70,000 to 100,000 MAD for Moroccans residing at home or abroad purchasing their first primary residence.
