Sajid visits Salé as part of the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections.

By حزب الاتحاد الدستوريJun 20, 20211 min read

As part of the party’s ongoing preparations for the upcoming electoral contests in the country, Mr. Mohamed Sajid, Secretary-General of the party, visited Salé accompanied by members of the Political Bureau, namely Hamadou El Baz, Habib Dekkak, and Hajji Ismail, to oversee a communication meeting held at the home of Mr. Mohamed Boutayen, the party’s lead candidate in the Laayayda district.

The meeting was organized thanks to the efforts of Mr. Abdelkader Tato, an experienced parliamentarian, the party’s provincial coordinator Mr. Larbi Belrouka, and the organizational team working alongside them.

The meeting was attended by candidates and lead candidates of the party’s lists in the districts and municipalities of Salé, as well as party officials, women and men activists, and elected representatives who had joined the party from various political backgrounds and from different districts and municipalities across the city.

All speakers viewed the meeting as an opportunity to continue the party’s broad mobilization efforts aimed at achieving strong results in the upcoming elections, particularly in light of the significant number of new members who expressed a strong willingness to work across the districts and municipalities of the Salé prefecture. The meeting also reflected the cohesion among the party’s various components, including elected officials, candidates, and activists in the city of Salé.

The Constitutional Union places employment and purchasing power at the heart of its electoral platform.

On September 7 in Casablanca, the Constitutional Union (UC) launched its platform for the 2026 legislative elections, prioritizing job creation, purchasing power, and productive growth under the commitment "A Productive Economy, More Job Opportunities, and Stronger Purchasing Power." Key Challenges Addressed: Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar highlighted that ~2.9 million Moroccan youth are currently not in employment, education, or training (NEETs), alongside inflation pressures and market intermediaries driving up living costs. Core Proposals: Align vocational training with market demands and support first-job access for youth. Improve the business climate, expand financing for SMEs/startups, and combat monopolies and rent-seeking. Strengthen market competition and supply chain transparency to curb inflation rather than relying solely on temporary price fixes. Combine private initiative with strategic state oversight to ensure growth benefits all social classes and regions.
