The National Forum for Communication and Civil Society, in partnership with the Tariq Ibn Ziyad Initiative (ENCG Settat branch – "TIZI ENCG SETTAT"), organized an open meeting with political figures from the Constitutional Union party at the party's central headquarters in Casablanca.

The event was attended by Mr. Mustapha Sayah, Director of the party's central headquarters and President of the National Forum for Communication and Civil Society; Ms. Najat Simou, member of the Political Bureau and National Secretary of the Constitutional Women's Organization; Mr. Jawad Chfil, member of the National Bureau of the Constitutional Youth and Vice-President of the Africa Liberal Network; Mr. Omar Himdi, member of the National Youth Bureau, its rapporteur, and member of the party's National Council; and Ms. Chaimaa El Kasmi, President of the TIZI ENCG SETTAT branch.

The gathering aimed to familiarize the students of ENCG Settat with the Constitutional Union party, its objectives, and its social liberal principles. It also highlighted the party's involvement in managing national and local affairs since its founding by the late Mohamed Maati Bouabid. Additionally, the party's decision-making bodies at the national, regional, and provincial levels were introduced, along with its international and regional engagements.

Furthermore, the meeting provided an opportunity to highlight the major achievements and flagship projects accomplished during the party's management of the city of Casablanca, spanning from the urban community system to the unified city system.لمدينة الدارالبيضاء، انطلاق من نظام المجموعة الحضرية، الى نظام وحدة المدينة.

The Constitutional Union places employment and purchasing power at the heart of its electoral platform.

On September 7 in Casablanca, the Constitutional Union (UC) launched its platform for the 2026 legislative elections, prioritizing job creation, purchasing power, and productive growth under the commitment "A Productive Economy, More Job Opportunities, and Stronger Purchasing Power." Key Challenges Addressed: Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar highlighted that ~2.9 million Moroccan youth are currently not in employment, education, or training (NEETs), alongside inflation pressures and market intermediaries driving up living costs. Core Proposals: Align vocational training with market demands and support first-job access for youth. Improve the business climate, expand financing for SMEs/startups, and combat monopolies and rent-seeking. Strengthen market competition and supply chain transparency to curb inflation rather than relying solely on temporary price fixes. Combine private initiative with strategic state oversight to ensure growth benefits all social classes and regions.
