In a report covered by Rissalat Al Oumma, Abdellah El Ferdaous, Director of the Constitutional Union (UC), expressed his satisfaction with the successful staging of the 5th "Master Class" edition, praising the organizers for maintaining momentum and strong participation since the program's inception.
In his opening address, Abdellah El Ferdaous highlighted key organizational and policy perspectives:
Timeliness of the 2019 Finance Bill: He described the selection of the 2019 Finance Bill as highly engaging and relevant, noting that the national budget faces a substantial deficit that presents complex management challenges.
Majority Coalition Consultations & Financing Needs: He emphasized that the current budget proposal remains open to adjustments during upcoming coalition leadership meetings. He noted that recent talks among majority parties identified a funding gap of approximately 30 billion MAD that must be sourced during the fiscal year to prevent the budget deficit from reaching unsustainable levels.
Institutional Continuity & Youth Engagement: El Ferdaous traced the "Master Class" initiative back to previous party forum traditions—formerly known as "Governance Thursday" and "Constitutional Thursday". He reaffirmed that these sessions deliver high-value training tailored for youth activists and local council presidents, confirming that the party administration remains fully committed to supporting their questions and development needs.
