  • El Ferdaous: Closing the border with neighboring Algeria costs both countries $100 billion.

During the Regional Employment Forum in the Oriental Region, Othman El Ferdaous, Secretary of State for Investment, highlighted that the border closure with Algeria costs both countries' economies $100 billion, according to World Bank figures. He called for keeping employment issues away from political outbidding and warned against the low participation of women in the workforce despite their academic excellence, describing it as "economic suicide" and proposing childcare solutions to support them. He also anticipated an economic revival in the region with the upcoming "Nador West Med" port, firmly rejecting the colonial concept of a "useless Morocco."

  • Nasser describes the condition of Taourirt hospital as "disastrous" and calls for the construction of a new one in the province.

Mohamed Nasser, MP for the Constitutional Rally group, renewed his urgent demand for Health Minister Anas Doukkali to expedite the construction of a new provincial hospital in Taourirt. Describing the current facility's condition as "disastrous" due to severe shortages in medical equipment and human resources, Nasser strongly criticized the project's unjustified delay since 2012 despite the availability of land. He attributed this to a lack of political will and a disregard for public health, warning that continued marginalization could trigger local protests.

  • Brother Mohamed Zerdali attends a series of inaugurations accompanied by a high-level delegation.

The activities included handing over an air-conditioned student transport bus to the Ahfir commune and laying the foundation stone for a new education and training center.
