Within the framework of the Chamber's active role in supporting project holders in business creation, Mr. Yassir Adel, President of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services, alongside Mr. Driss El Bouhti, Vice President of the Chamber, supervised the distribution of participation certificates to beneficiaries of a training workshop. The workshop was organized by the Settat annex of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services for graduates of the Polytech Training Institute on the topic: "Stages of Business Creation and the Auto-Entrepreneur," on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Settat annex headquarters.

In his welcoming address, Mr. Yassir Adel emphasized the importance of training and developing an entrepreneurial mindset, highlighting that entering the business world comes through encouraging and supporting creative youth with innovative ideas to establish their own businesses and create new and diverse job opportunities.

The meeting served as an opportunity to highlight the Chamber's pivotal role in accompanying and guiding project holders, whether in terms of direction and assistance or monitoring and evaluation.

The training session, led by Mr. Said Moussafir, Head of the Support and Promotion Department, covered the following topics:

  • How to create a business and the stages of its establishment;

  • Legal forms of businesses;

  • How to conduct a feasibility study and a business plan;

  • Project financing mechanisms;

  • Government programs supporting businesses;

  • The "Auto-Entrepreneur" status and its associated benefits.

The objective of this training is to contribute to supporting the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises, encouraging entrepreneurial initiative and innovation, and enhancing the skills of young project holders in establishing their businesses.

Furthermore, the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for this training workshop, which aimed to strengthen their capabilities and improve their knowledge to enable them to play their full role as a driver of development.
