Full Text of the Constitutional Union Party Statement on the Contents of the Glorious Throne Day Speech

The Constitutional Union party followed, with great pride and appreciation, the Sublime Speech addressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI—may God assist Him—on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2026, to the Moroccan people on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of His Majesty's accession to the Throne of His glorious ancestors.

On this glorious occasion, as the party renews its highest expressions of loyalty and allegiance to His Majesty, it expresses its deep pride in the clear strategic vision conveyed in the Royal Speech. The speech reviewed the achievements of twenty-seven years of construction and reform while looking forward to a new phase in the Kingdom's developmental path, grounded in consolidating gains and pursuing major projects and structural reforms.

The Constitutional Union notes with pride His Majesty the King's affirmation that Morocco's achievements are not the result of chance, but rather the fruit of a strategic approach grounded in initiative, rigorous follow-up, constructive self-criticism, and a positive outlook toward the future. This reflects a farsighted Royal methodology that places serving citizens and guaranteeing their conditions for a free and dignified life at the core of all national policies and projects.

Furthermore, the party highly values His Majesty the King's emphasis on the security and stability enjoyed by Morocco, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of state institutions amidst a regional and international climate marked by volatility and turbulence. The party considers political and institutional stability to be a strategic capital and an indispensable foundation for pursuing development and boosting confidence in the future.

The Constitutional Union party expresses its pride in the economic accomplishments outlined in the Royal Speech, foremost among which is reaching a growth rate of approximately 4.9% in 2025, with projections indicating the continuation of this momentum during 2026, alongside the strengthening of Morocco's position as a hub for industrial, tourism, and financial investment.

The party praises the Kingdom's achievements under the wise leadership of His Majesty in automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors, as well as the enhancement of national sovereignty and strategic self-sufficiency, particularly in agrifood and pharmaceutical industries. This is accompanied by steps toward establishing an industrial and technological base in defense industries and cybersecurity, reinforcing the Kingdom's defense sovereignty, expanding investment and employment opportunities, diversifying investment offerings to include green hydrogen, and expanding renewable energy projects—thus demonstrating the Kingdom's ability to anticipate global technological and economic shifts and actively engage in strategic industries and future production chains.

It emphasizes that, thanks to this cumulative performance, Morocco has become a trusted, respected, and influential international actor, as well as a sought-after economic partner, owing to its policy of diversifying partnerships and adopting balanced, constructive, and forward-looking relationships that safeguard the Kingdom's supreme interests and enhance its regional and international standing.

On the social front, the Constitutional Union party values His Majesty the King's keenness to continue implementing human development programs, generalizing social protection, improving citizens' living conditions, and effectively executing integrated territorial development programs to ensure that all regions benefit without exception, thereby reinforcing social and spatial justice.

The party confirms its full commitment to the Royal directive calling for the mobilization of necessary financial resources to accompany economic and social transformation, expanding small and medium-sized enterprises' access to banking and non-banking finance, encouraging innovation, manufacturing, and exports, while mobilizing national savings and revitalizing financial markets.

The party attaches special importance to the Royal Speech's emphasis that economic and social achievements transcend governmental and parliamentary mandates, as they are the outcome of continuous positive accumulations and the soundness of the Kingdom's major strategic choices.

In this context, the Constitutional Union expresses its readiness to contribute, with seriousness and responsibility, to the success of the new cycle in the development path called for by His Majesty the King following the upcoming legislative elections and the emergence of a new government, ensuring the protection of gains, acceleration of reforms, continuation of major projects, and effective response to citizens' expectations.

Reaffirming its pride in the achievements of 27 years under the wise leadership of His Majesty, the party calls on all national forces to embrace the spirit of trust, optimism, and responsibility conveyed by the Royal Speech, prioritize the supreme national interest, and strengthen collective mobilization to build an emerging Morocco—strong in its institutions, proud of its sovereignty, and united across its social classes and regions.
