The Constitutional Union Party followed with great interest the contents of the Royal Speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to members of Parliament on the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of the 11th legislature. The address re-affirmed the depth of the Royal vision in guiding political and institutional action to serve the supreme interests of the nation and its citizens, strengthen trust in constitutional institutions, and uphold the spirit of responsibility and selflessness in service of the public good.
The Constitutional Union Party highly values the insightful Royal directives that clearly outlined the key features of the new generation of territorial development programs. These represent strategic initiatives to accelerate the trajectory of an emerging, cohesive Morocco built on social and spatial justice, equal opportunities for all citizens, and the enhancement of efforts to reduce disparities and achieve territorial equity among regions.
The party also commends His Majesty the King's affirmation, may God preserve Him, that major national projects do not conflict with social programs; rather, they complement them in achieving comprehensive development and improving citizens' living conditions. This reflects the clarity of the wise Royal vision in combining economic and social construction within an integrated, balanced framework.
The Constitutional Union emphasizes that His Majesty's call to pay special attention to mountainous regions, oases, coastal development, and the expansion of emerging rural centers serves as a clear roadmap for directing public policies toward spatial justice and social equity, ensuring sustainable and inclusive development across all parts of the Kingdom.
Furthermore, the party expresses its deep pride in His Majesty's guidance regarding the importance of citizen engagement and awareness-building around public initiatives, affirming that this responsibility rests collectively upon the government, parliament, political parties, media, and civil society.
In this context, the Constitutional Union renews its firm commitment to fulfilling its constitutional roles in guiding citizens, strengthening bridges of trust with institutions, and opening up to young talents and new elites to enrich political life with fresh blood capable of keeping pace with national transformations.
While praising His Majesty the King's efforts to elevate party and parliamentary diplomacy, the party reaffirms its full dedication to defending the nation’s supreme causes, foremost among them the primary national cause, the Moroccan Sahara, thereby enhancing the Kingdom’s reach and its regional and international standing.
In conclusion, the Constitutional Union Party calls for further national mobilization and collective engagement behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to complete the process of construction and reform, entrench the state of institutions, and consolidate Morocco's unique model of development, democracy, and solidarity.
