Under the Directives of Mohamed El Zemmouri, Consultative Meeting Held in Larache Larache

By حزب الاتحاد الدستوريDec 15, 20241 min read

As part of a comprehensive regional outreach program mapped out by the Regional Coordination of the Constitutional Union (UC) party in the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region—under the leadership of Regional Coordinator and Political Bureau member Mr. Mohamed El Zemmouri—a community consultative meeting was held in the commune of Bni Garfett, Larache province.

The session was led by Mr. Abdelaziz El Ouadki, Political Bureau member and Member of Parliament representing Larache province, alongside Mr. Abdeslam Hamdan, the party's Regional Director. The gathering provided a direct venue to listen to citizen concerns and address local priorities, with residents welcoming the opportunity for open dialogue with their parliamentary representative.

Additionally, a targeted working session was convened at the Bni Garfett municipal headquarters with members of the local council. The meeting focused on reviewing the commune’s development initiatives and strategic projects to advocate for their execution with the relevant regional and national administrative bodies.

The Constitutional Union places employment and purchasing power at the heart of its electoral platform.

On September 7 in Casablanca, the Constitutional Union (UC) launched its platform for the 2026 legislative elections, prioritizing job creation, purchasing power, and productive growth under the commitment "A Productive Economy, More Job Opportunities, and Stronger Purchasing Power." Key Challenges Addressed: Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar highlighted that ~2.9 million Moroccan youth are currently not in employment, education, or training (NEETs), alongside inflation pressures and market intermediaries driving up living costs. Core Proposals: Align vocational training with market demands and support first-job access for youth. Improve the business climate, expand financing for SMEs/startups, and combat monopolies and rent-seeking. Strengthen market competition and supply chain transparency to curb inflation rather than relying solely on temporary price fixes. Combine private initiative with strategic state oversight to ensure growth benefits all social classes and regions.
