Under the supervision of the regional secretariat of the Constitutional Union party in the Tangier-Asilah prefecture, and in the presence of the party's female activists in the province, the provincial secretariat of the Constitutional Women organized a preparatory meeting this morning, Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the party's regional headquarters, ahead of the provincial congress for the Tangier-Asilah prefecture. This comes as a continuation of previously scheduled meetings attended by party leaders in the province, headed by Mr. Mohamed Zemmouri, the party's regional coordinator and member of the political bureau.

The meeting involved examining several points related to the priority projects of the Constitutional Women, foremost among them the completion of organizational structures.

Furthermore, the gathering served as an opportunity to schedule outreach meetings with women in the province to broaden collective discussions about their ambitions and challenges, and to unify visions regarding various projects. It was also a chance to discuss the logistical preparations for the provincial congress of the Constitutional Women.

The Constitutional Union places employment and purchasing power at the heart of its electoral platform.

On September 7 in Casablanca, the Constitutional Union (UC) launched its platform for the 2026 legislative elections, prioritizing job creation, purchasing power, and productive growth under the commitment "A Productive Economy, More Job Opportunities, and Stronger Purchasing Power." Key Challenges Addressed: Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar highlighted that ~2.9 million Moroccan youth are currently not in employment, education, or training (NEETs), alongside inflation pressures and market intermediaries driving up living costs. Core Proposals: Align vocational training with market demands and support first-job access for youth. Improve the business climate, expand financing for SMEs/startups, and combat monopolies and rent-seeking. Strengthen market competition and supply chain transparency to curb inflation rather than relying solely on temporary price fixes. Combine private initiative with strategic state oversight to ensure growth benefits all social classes and regions.
