Press Release from the Royal Cabinet

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, kindly appointed on Monday, March 24, 2025, several officials to constitutional institutions, namely:

  • Mr. Abdelkader Amara, President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE);

  • Mr. Mohamed Benalilou, President of the National Authority for Probity, Prevention and Combating Corruption (INPPLC);

  • Mr. Hassan Tarik, Mediator of the Kingdom (Ombudsman).

These appointments fall within the framework of His Majesty the King's keenness to enable these institutions to carry out the missions assigned to them by the Kingdom's Constitution, consolidate their role in anchoring the principles of good governance, enhance participatory democracy, and protect rights and freedoms.

They also reflect the importance attached by His Majesty to these bodies, as independent constitutional institutions, in order to impart a new dynamic to their missions, enhance their interaction with various national institutions, and accompany the various reforms and major projects underway in the Kingdom.
