His Majesty King Mohammed VI emphasized that the next phase in managing the coronavirus health crisis requires the collective efforts of all Moroccans to meet its challenges.
In the Royal Address delivered on Wednesday evening to the Nation on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Throne Day, His Majesty the King stated: "I address all national forces without exception, appealing to their spirit of patriotism and their individual and collective responsibility to actively engage in national efforts to overcome this stage and address its economic and social repercussions."
His Majesty stressed that "we must turn the gains achieved during this brief period into a decisive turning point to reinforce the strengths demonstrated by Moroccans, accelerate the reforms required at this stage, and capitalize on the opportunities it presents."
In doing so, His Majesty added, "we link the past to the present, proving to be worthy successors to our illustrious predecessors, remembering with deep reverence the pure souls of Morocco's great men—foremost among them Our revered Grandfather and Father, His Majesty King Mohammed V and His Majesty King Hassan II, may God bless their souls, as well as all the valiant martyrs of the Nation."
On this occasion, His Majesty King Mohammed VI once again commended "Our Royal Armed Forces and Our security forces in all their components for their constant mobilization, under Our leadership, to defend the unity of the Homeland and preserve its security and stability."
