His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, held talks on Wednesday at the Presidential Palace in Libreville with His Excellency Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Gabonese Republic.
These talks, which were later expanded to include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, the Minister Delegate to the Gabonese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Yolande Nyonda, and the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Gabonese Republic, Mr. Jean-Yves Teale, were an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of the deep, rich, and solidly rooted relations between Morocco and Gabon, as well as the strong bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between the two peoples.
During these talks, His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, and the Gabonese President reviewed the state of the bilateral partnership in all fields.
Following this, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, supervised, in the presence of the President of the Gabonese Republic, the delivery of a donation consisting of 2,000 tons of fertilizers.
This solidarity initiative is part of the care that the Kingdom of Morocco shows for Gabonese farmers, particularly in the current context, marked by the global food crisis and difficulties in fertilizer supply.
In implementation of the High Royal Instructions, structural measures will be taken following this operation to facilitate access for farmers in this brotherly country to quality fertilizers at affordable prices, specifically adapted to the needs of the soils and crops of the region.
