The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery announced that on the occasion of the commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and support him, to the throne of his glorious ancestors, His Majesty, may God preserve him, will deliver a Royal Speech to his faithful people this Tuesday evening. His Majesty will also preside over the celebratory ceremonies marking this occasion on Wednesday and Thursday.
The following is the text of the communiqué issued by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery in this regard:
"The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery announces that on the occasion of the commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and support him, to the throne of his glorious ancestors, His Majesty, may God preserve him, will deliver a Royal Speech to his faithful people. The Royal Speech will be broadcast on radio and television on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM.
His Majesty, may God glorify him, will also preside over a reception ceremony on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the square of the M'diq-Fnideq Prefecture in the city of M'diq.
On the afternoon of Thursday, July 31, 2025, His Majesty, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will preside over the oath-taking ceremony at the Mechouar square of the Royal Palace in the city of Tétouan, which will be taken before His Majesty by the newly graduated officers from various military, paramilitary, and civil schools and institutes.
On this occasion, and by order of His Majesty, may God glorify him, the Supreme Command of the Royal Armed Forces will host a luncheon at the Royal Guard Club in the city of Tétouan.
Later in the afternoon of the same day, His Majesty the King, may God grant him victory, will preside over the Ceremony of Allegiance at the Mechouar square of the Royal Palace in the city of Tétouan."
His Majesty King Mohammed VI stated that Morocco is entering a new phase focused on strengthening national sovereignty, supporting economic recovery, and implementing the New Development Model. He also called on the government and Parliament to fully assume their responsibilities.
The United Nations praised His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s forward-looking vision for future generations, highlighting the importance of collective action to build a human-centered and sustainable development model. It also noted that this vision has become even more relevant in light of the challenges exposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly social inequalities and the spread of misinformation.
The Council of the League of Arab States praised the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to protect Al-Quds Al-Sharif and support the resilience of the Palestinian people. It also highlighted the fieldwork of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency in preserving the city’s Arab and Islamic identity.
